Just a couple days shy of their “A Foreign Affair” World Tour, Client Liaison are coming BACK to Thredbo for the fourth year running to show us how it’s done. An embodiment of the intoxicating apres music scene vibe that Thredbo is all about, we’ve been getting our fix for the past three years and can’t wait for our next hit of pop-synth retro-clad dance tunes coming to the Kosciuszko Poolside Apres Party THIS SATURDAY August 19th, starting at 2pm Poolside at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel!
Kicking things off on Saturday afternoon from 2pm is Scotty Sax from the Groove Academy who is sure to warm up the crowd with his house infused disco beats. DJ Salami will closely follow Scotty to pump the après vibes and bring the bangers before Client Liaison take over Thredbo for a night of 90’s nostalgia hits.
If the mountain air doesn’t give you enough of a high, Client Liaison’s music surely will, in the words of DJ KLP “Maybe if Ansett had these guys as their brand ambassadors they would still be flying!”. Huge claim? Yes. Exaggeration? Absolutely not. Highly praised by Triple J and a frequent hit on festival stages including the likes of Falls, Splendour in the Grass and Secret Garden, the success of their debut album Diplomatic Immunity, released in 2016, is evidence of their music mastery.
You can get a taste of the multisensory phenomenon that is Client Liaison from their blurb alone – “International in flavour, cosmopolitan in style – put it on the company card. Too much is never enough. Think nothing. Feel everything. Pleasure is good. Fantasy is truth. Experience.” And if that’s not enough to sell you, check out their powerful and talked-about performance of Sorrento Moon at t this year’s Splendour in the Grass, featuring superstar Tina Arena as well as their Off White Limousine performance, live at the Athenaeum Theatre in Melbourne.

Thredbo sits on the traditional land of the Monero – Ngarigo people who have looked after this land, water and community for over 60,000 years. We thank them for all they have done and continue to do to look after their country, a special place which we all love and respect.
