The temps are dropping, the mornings are getting frostier and the snow season officially kicks off in 7 weeks! We’re pumped to kick off another massive season in Thredbo with lots of skiing, boarding, events and…après, lots of après . It’s in Thredbo’s DNA that we host the biggest and best parties throughout winter and keep the good vibes going all day and night, both on the mountain and off the mountain.

This winter we’ve locked in some of the biggest acts in Australia, you know, like that guy called ‘Hot Dub Time Machine’ or that kinda well known dude ‘Touch Sensitive’ plus ‘Tigerlily’ ‘North East Party House’, ‘Running Touch’, ‘Young Franco’ and we’re only just getting started…

1. Heineken Saturdays Village Concert Series | June 9, August 25 

It’s back! The Heineken Saturdays Village Concert Series last year turned the village up to level 100 with some of the best artists in Australia bringing ultimate good vibes and it’s sure set to shake things up this winter.

Opening weekend is going to go off, with huge celebrations happening across the entire long weekend. The biggest highlight is the Heineken Saturdays Village Concert featuring Thredbo’s favourtie, Hot Dub Time Machine! Backing up Hot Dub Time Machine on the first Heineken Saturdays is Young Franco, one of the hottest DJ’s in Australia as well as Falcona’s talented suite of Sydney’s best artists currently on the scene. It’s time to turn it up!

Tigerlily is locked in for Heineken Saturdays round 2 and we are HYPED! Tigerlily, mainstay at Stereosonic Australia and recently taking to the festival and club circuits in Europe and North America is no stranger to the world stage. Hand picked as one of Tiesto’s main support acts for Asia and the USA, Tigerlily has performed at some of the world’s most renowned venues and has just landed a residency at the prestigious Hakkasan in Las Vegas #CantWait.

2. First Base ft. Tom Tilley & Hugo Gruzman | June 30, August 4, September 8

It’s time to dust off the retro colourwear, one piece ski suits and of course…the fluro frame sunnies, First Base is hitting Thredbo for it’s second undertaking, which is set to be nothing short of ‘the best après parties ‘ to ever hit the Australian alps!

With thanks to Falcona and Canadian Club, this winter Tom Tilley (Triple J) & Hugo Gruzman (Flight Facilities) are bringing some special guests that are coolest cats in the Australian music scene at the moment to bring the non-stop party vibes to Thredbo. Locked in to come bring the party to poolside this winter is Touch Sensitive, CC:Disco and Joyride! Make sure start getting your retro suit ready and prepare yourself for this heavy hitting line-up.

3. Corona Sunset Poolside Sessions | July 21 & August 18 

Summer vibes is what comes to mind when you first think of sipping back on a Corona…or two. However, have you ever experienced a sunset in the Australian alps? Some say, it’s the best sunset you can cop, top it off with a bucket of coronas, mates and some of the Austalia’s best live artists…it makes for a pretty awesome way to finish off your day in the mountains!

This winter Corona are bringing out Running Touch, the mysterious artist from Melbourne that has grown from an industry whisper to one of the most esteemed new acts to hit the electronic music circuit in recent times – an exceptional producer, live performer, songwriter and singer…hyped!

Plus , Northeast Party House are locked in to turn poolside upside down on the 18th of August with their new-age alternative pop style tunes. Northeast Party House are all about taking things to the next level with every live show they play!

4. Top to Bottom Weekend | 10 – 11 August 

Top to Bottom weekend is Thredbo’s biggest weekend both on and off the slopes…get ready to race and get ready to party! Across jam-packed 2 days Thredbo turns into a mountain music festival with Australia’s best DJ’s and top artists pumping tunes all weekend long. An exhilarating race takes place on the Saturday morning where the countries fastest skiers and boarders battle it out from the top of the mountain to the bottom for their share of some serious $$$.

If your looking for a weekend with everything happening from on-mountain activities, parties galore and live concerts this is the weekend for you.

5. Toyota One Hit Wonder | 3 – 8 September

Witness the litness both on and off the mountain all week long thanks to the Toyota One Hit Wonder. This groundbreaking event is one of the feature highlights on the Thredbo event calendar and gives the word ‘wow’ and whole new meaning! Checkout the best athletes in the world throw down on the biggest jump in the Southern Hemisphere sitting at just over 100ft! That’s right 100ft!

The action is followed each day off the mountain with an array of parties, concerts, events and other exciting happenings that is sure to stoke out anyone that’s in town. 6. Full Moon Parties | June 28, July 27, August 26, September 24

Ignite the night with Fireball at the iconic Fireball Full Moon Parties. They say weird things happen on a full moon, and the Fireball parties are a testament to exactly that. Enjoy the famous Keller Bar as Australia’s hottest DJ’s play deep tunes to get you groovin’ into the night. Grab the squad and hit Thredbo for what will be a night to remember.
