What a week! From bangin’ blue skies to freshies and bit of Heaps Gay in between…it sure was a week for the books in Thredbo!
Skiers and snowboarders loved the all time conditions early in the week with nothing but blue skies, minimal winds, prime groomers and all terrain parks open, stacked with heaps of features to enjoy!
The Thredbo Snow Series Slopestyle event went down on Thursday! It was incredible to see so many mini shredders and top pros absolutely destroy the course consisting of 2 rail features and 2 jumps…a huge ups to everyone who competed and threw down on the setup…the future is looking bright!!!
Also this week, Rainbow Mountain: A Heaps Gay Snow Week kicked off and it was nothing but good times, love, fun, glitter and of course…apres! What an amazing week celebrating all things love and good times with the LGBTQIA community.
Thanks to Heaps Gay, Absolut, Aspen Snowmass, Delta & Virgin Airlines, G.H Mumm and Cloud Nine, the festival went off with a bang and vibes were high for the entire 5 days…it sure was one HEAPS GAY week in Thredbo! The 5 days were filled with non-stop snow events, parties, après, live concerts, champagne lunches, races and more…
Come the weekend, Mother Nature delivered 12cm of freshies for the weekend warriors to enjoy on Saturday…with fun patches of snow to be found across the entire mountain! Mother Nature has definitely been looking after the weekend warriors this season…

Thredbo sits on the traditional land of the Monero – Ngarigo people who have looked after this land, water and community for over 60,000 years. We thank them for all they have done and continue to do to look after their country, a special place which we all love and respect.
