The long weekend is almost here, and that means more time to celebrate this unbelievable season of après in Thredbo. With Thredbo’s annual Pond Skim and Oktoberfest festivities….all you’ll need is a celebratory outfit to match!
As the snow starts to melt and the spring sun is shining, it’s the perfect time to slap on your board shorts (or budgie smugglers), grab your skis or board and head to Pond Skim on Saturday 29th of September. Take on the challenge and see if you can make it across the pool – points for creativity too, so dress to impress.
Then, it’s time to party like the Germans… head to Thredbo Alpine Hotel for a huge, Oktoberfest Poolside Après Party. You’ll be grooving along to tunes by Venus Trio and enjoying German and Aussie beers on tap.
The Oktoberfest celebrations continue on Sunday with a Bavarian Long Lunch on the Bistro deck, featuring delicious German eats and more biers…. PROST!
