Storms delivering dry, soft powder have made for some of the best snow conditions we’ve ever seen…offering riders of all abilities the chance to lap up Thredbo’s vertical that is close to double that of any Australian snow resort.
Skiers and snowboarders are spending the season carving down the longest runs in the country, riding to Australia’s Highest Lifted Point, and ticking off one of the resorts favourite bucket list items… ringing the Thredbo Community Bell.
We have always been ahead of the game when it comes to events and this year has been no exception. The on-snow schedule is packed all winter long starting off with the Torah Bright Mini Shred, the Snow Series, Top to Bottom, Banked Slalom, Kids Festivals, and more!
This winter we launched a new set of on-mountain experiences including Snowcat Dinners at either the famous Kareela Hutte or Merritts Mountain House. Guests were also able to have a one-in-a-life time experience, heading up for our Sunrise Sessions to ring the bell at sunrise, enjoy breakfast at Eagles Nest, Australia’s highest restaurant and enjoying first tracks down Supertrail with an Olympian!
Our Thredbo Backcountry Tours, supported by The North Face offer guests the chance to reach new heights with experienced guides sharing some of the best off-piste riding out in untouched terrain.
Off the slopes, guests can roam Thredbo’s alpine village and enjoy a wide range of different après events including live music and DJs, exceptional food and wine at the variety of restaurants, and fireworks and flare runs to entertain the whole family!
Thredbo stands miles above other Australian resorts thanks to the longest runs, Australia’s only alpine Gondola, a stunning alpine village and awesome experiences for everyone on and off the slopes!
