40cm Fresh Snow & Powder Days in Thredbo

Welcome Powder Days!
Blizzard conditions began rolling in over the Australian alps early Sunday morning. So far Thredbo has seen accumulation of 40cm of fresh snow from this storm with powder conditions across the mountain. Check the snow cams as the storm continues throughout the day.

With snowfall forecast to continue overnight and throughout the week, keen skiers and snowboarders can look forward to powder turns and windblown stashes at Thredbo Resort, setting the season up for excellent conditions through to the end of the season on 3 October.
First Base ft. Poof Doof Headlines Thredbo’s Massive August Events Calendar
As if the great snow conditions aren’t enough, Thredbo Resort also has a stacked events calendar for guests to enjoy every day this week and throughout the entire winter season. This Saturday 20 August, First Base presented by Canadian Club takes over Alpine Bar. Australia’s queer dance night POOF DOOF will bring guaranteed good times and rainbow entertainment to Thredbo’s après ski scene, in addition to hosts Tom Tilley, Hugo Gruzman and Harvey M.
