Australia’s Best Ski Resort For The Sixth Year In A Row

Thredbo Resort is proud to have taken out a trifecta of awards for its successful 2022 winter season.

Thredbo won the awards for ‘Australia’s Best Ski Resort’ at the World Ski Awards, ‘Best Australian Resort’ at the Snowsports Industries of Australia Awards, and ‘Australia’s Best Family Ski Resort’ at the Out & About with Kids Readers’ Choice Awards.

This is the sixth year in a row that Thredbo has been crowned ‘Australia’s Best Ski Resort’ at the World Ski Awards, a global initiative that recognizes, rewards, and celebrates excellence in ski tourism.

The wins are the result of a great winter season in 2022 with consistently strong skiing and snowboarding conditions, exclusive premier on-mountain experiences, and Thredbo’s biggest-ever winter events and entertainment calendar.

This winter, Thredbo hosted a number of record-breaking après events with some of Australia’s biggest live music acts, kid’s festivals, skiing and snowboarding events, terrain parks, and a series of unique on-mountain experiences.
