FAQs
We will reach out to you to gather information for a start list prior to your event date. This sheet has key pieces of competitor information that will assist us smoothly running your event on the day and providing results to you shortly after the conclusion of your event.
Vetting competitor ability – Race environments present competitors with elevated levels of risk by virtue of competitors pushing their own ability levels. Please ensure any competitor registering for an event is a minimum Level 6 Skier or Level 5 Snowboarder, as defined on the Thredbo website. https://www.thredbo.com.au/lessons-programs/know-your-level/ . Any competitor falling below the minimum standard will be removed from the race course and competition will cease for that participant.
There are a variety of different ways to calculate results in any event. You should give some consideration to how you would like to calculate results for your event. To talk through the available options email race_thredbo@evt.com
Weather conditions in alpine environments often change from hour to hour. This often requires last minute changes to event timings, locations, formats, etc. and some consideration on how to communicate any last minute changes to event participants should be considered prior to arriving in the resort.
