Storm Delivers 14cm Of Fresh Snow & Counting! The Forecast Looks Even Better…

We’ve scored a total snow accumulation of 14cm so far thanks to this polar-powered storm!

We woke up to a beautiful scene this morning as the snow gods had blessed us with snow all the way down in the village.
Winter vibes = HIGH!
Snow was still falling in the early hours of this morning but the wintry conditions didn’t stop skiers and snowboarders from getting out there to carve up the fresh snow.
The best part? This storm isn’t done yet and there’s more snow in the forecast for today & tomorrow! Experts are forecasting that this low-pressure system will continue for the next two weeks, predicting some huge snowfall accumulations.
Mountain Watch is calling for up to 55cm over the next 7 days, The Bureau of Meteorology says 70cm+ and Snowatch is predicting up to 79cm over the next 14 days.
The freezing temperatures that this polar-powered cold front has brought with it are also ideal for our snowmaking operations! Over the last three nights, our snowmaking crew have been able to fire up over 100 snowmaking guns for up to 14 hours every night and there’s lots more cold nights to come.
