Summer Wrap Up
THREDBO TO MT KOSCIUSZKO
The Kosciuszko Chairlift will close from the 28th of April through to the 30th of May for scheduled maintenance; however, the Snowgums Chairlift will be active during this period to allow access for hikers wishing to do the Kosciuszko Walk, Dead Horse Gap and the Main Range. Those with keen eyes may still be able to spot a flower here and there, like the Snowy Eyebright pictured below.
Exciting news here at Thredbo with a brand new in-resort trail, the Harusch loop! Accessed via the Merritts Gondola, this trail takes you on a historical journey past the remnants of the old Harusch Lift, a rope tow that ran from 1978 right up to 1995 and the installation of the Cruiser Chairlift. This one will have to be added to the bucket list for the beginning of next summer, whilst the resort is in winter mode!

Thredbo sits on the traditional land of the Monero – Ngarigo people who have looked after this land, water and community for over 60,000 years. We thank them for all they have done and continue to do to look after their country, a special place which we all love and respect.
