It’s been another fantastic week here in Thredbo with plenty happening both on and off the mountain.
We started the week with wind and snow showers before the clouds cleared and temperatures dropped resulting in some huge nights of snowmaking and beautiful conditions. An unexpected burst of heavy snow fell late Thursday afternoon which topped up the cover nicely as well.
State Interschool’s descended upon Thredbo with hundreds of competitors battling it out for their respected schools with Slopestyle making it’s debut! We also had Thredbo Ambassador, X-Games gold medalist and Olympian Anna Segal in resort working with the Development Squad and enjoying some fresh snow at her favourite resort!
The Keller Bar was the place to be on Friday night where internationally renowned band Ocean Alley played an electrifying set. Burton Tight Lines kicked off on Saturday under blue skies with some of the best snowboarders in Australia taking to the newly rebuilt Antons Terrain Park to film their best full run.
Sunday and the clouds rolled in with some stronger winds but with snow conditions as good as they are everyone was happy.
Our Season Pass Sale began as well this week with great deals to be had! Secure either your Winter 2017 or Thredbo 365 pass now for only $49* Get all the information here.
We are now looking forward to next week and the start of spring! The Toyota One Hit Wonder will kick things off in style with some of the best skiers in the world taking to one of the biggest jumps in the world. The Corona Concert Series will follow with a massive line-up of artists including Safia, Gyspy And The Cat, Castlecomers and Sweet Mix kids.

Thredbo sits on the traditional land of the Monero – Ngarigo people who have looked after this land, water and community for over 60,000 years. We thank them for all they have done and continue to do to look after their country, a special place which we all love and respect.
