The Southern Hemisphere’s first-ever year-round Alpine Coaster is now open!
At 1.5km in length, from thrill-seekers to leisure cruisers, passengers will be able to control their speed of up to 40km/h as they travel along a mix of uphill and downhill tracks featuring a tunnel, bridges and circles that traverse the alpine environment.
To ride the Alpine Coaster on your own you must be 8 years of age or older and over 135cms tall. For the kids aged 3 to 8, you double up with a responsible person over 15 years. Frequently asked questions

For Summer 2024/25 hours of operation will be:
- Monday – Thursday from 12:00pm – 5pm
- Friday – Sunday 9:00am – 5 pm
Alpine Coaster rides can be added onto your lift pass at the time of purchase.
No, add on ride/s are valid for the same duration as your selected lift pass. Add On Alpine Coaster rides must match the duration of the selected lift pass. E.g 5 Day Lift Pass can Add on 5 x Alpine Coaster Rides to be used over 5 consecutive days from the selected product start date. Un-used rides will expire at the end of the Lift pass validity.
Drivers must be:
- 8 years and older.
- 1.35m in height or taller.
- physically able to maintain a seated position, operate brake levers, and use safety restraints. Drivers must be seated in the rear seat and keep both hands on the brake levers and be in a position to operate them at all times.
- capable of understanding and obeying all verbal and written instructions
- assigned a valid Alpine Coaster pass to access the Alpine Coaster
Passengers must be:
- 3 years or older. Children aged 3 to 7 years may ride in two-seater sleds as a passenger with a responsible person aged 15 years and over.
- shorter than driver.
- physically able to maintain a seated position, hold onto front grab handle and use safety restraints. Passengers must keep their hands on the front grab handle at all times.
- Assigned a valid Alpine Coaster pass to access the Alpine Coaster
Yes, it is. When you arrive at the coaster line, please find a lift attendant who will lead you to a wheelchair parking station positioned directly beside the cart for onboarding and offboarding.
Yes, the Alpine Coaster can close in times of:
- Low visibility
- Extreme weather conditions including but not limited to: lightning, heavy rain, hail or high winds; and snow and ice buildup on track
- Any other conditions which make operation unsafe
Yes, product amendments may be made up to 4.30pm two days prior to your selected start date subject to availability. The amendment fee is $20.00 per transaction change.
