#BestDayEver…Torah inspires the next generation

The Torah Bright Mini shred went off with an absolute bang yesterday with over 250 grommets turning out for what they were describing as the #BestDayEver as they got trick tips from some of Australia’s best skiers and snowboarders including Olympic Gold & Silver Medallist Torah Bright.
The Thredbo terrain park crew developed one of the coolest mini terrain parks Thredbo has ever seen plus Australia’s first half pipe of the year! There were jumps, jibs, transitions, half pipe, quarter pipe and rollers for every kid to learn new tricks and progress.
Torah invited some of the best skiers and snowboarders in Australia to help out and give coaching tips to all the mini shredders. A big thanks to Ryan Tiene, Jye Kearney, Joss McAlpine and Zahra Kell, along with skiers Manuela Berchtold, Tom Waddell, Harrison McInnes and Ryan Cooke who came to hand out tips, tricks, Roxy & Quiksilver gear and $50 Rhythm Snowboard vouchers to all the kids.
The Torah Bright Mini Shred is all about inspiring the next generation and it’s clear that the future of Australian skiing and snowboarding is looking very bright with so many talented grommets taking their riding to the next level, always at the forefront of progression. The Mini Shred is a great way for all these kids to get together and push each other.

Once the day came to an end and all the grommets energy levels started to drop, Torah put on a huge prize giveaway and signing session with the pro’s. All the kids got to get a free shirt and poster signed by Torah and the coaches…there were smiles for miles!
Torah claims “Seeing the talent level of the future of Aussie shredders was amazing…It was awesome to share some advice, tips and the stoke with all the kids and have snow flurries falling all day long…absolutely magical”.
A massive thanks to Rhythm Snowboard Shop and Roxy for helping out with the event and hooking all the kids up with heaps of gear and prizes.
