Guns are Pumping & Opening Weekend is Just Around the Corner!

It’s go time baby! Our snowmaking team are working around the clock, looking for the perfect weather opportunities to start making snow. The team has their eye out for high pressure systems as the winds are generally light, humidity is low and it tends to bring on colder nights, coupled with large stable highs that move across the continent slower…it offers great conditions to start pumping the snow guns.
Over the past 2 days the team has been firing up the guns, with overnight snowmaking now in full motion!
The weather is looking great for continual snowmaking for the remainder of the weekend, before the arrival of a cold front with forecast natural snowfalls…great news in the lead up to Opening Weekend. Come on Mother Nature…do your thing!!!
The teams main focus with Opening Weekend just around the corner is focusing snowmaking efforts around Friday Flat, High Noon and the Cruiser area.
Excitement levels are high and Opening Weekend is only 2 weeks away. It’s set to be a massive long weekend filled with parties, concerts and lot’s more. We’re super pumped to kick off another great season and invite you all to come join in on the opening celebrations.
