Stormin’ Norman…85cm of Fresh Snow!
Posted on 19 Jun, 2018
Stormin’ Norman…thank you! Over the past 5 days we’ve received 85cm of fresh snow and skiers and boarders were ecstatic over the great early season conditions on offer.
There were fresh tracks to be found across the entire weekend, a rare early season gift from Mother Nature. The Cruiser area was the go to for skiers and boarders, with a fresh dusting on the groomers each morning and fun pockets of freshies to hit once the Powder Bowl area opened up.
First Timers were loving the Friday Flat top to bottom run, with heaps of families out introducing their kids to the snow and snow sport lessons kicking into full swing. There were smiles to be found everywhere…plus lots of happy kids enjoying a hot chocolate and a doughnut after a big day on the slopes…well deserved!
High Noon opened up on Sunday and all the shredders took to the long groomed run straight away, carving up the corduroy and getting back their feet for another big season of skiing and boarding.
Check out the Stormin Norman’ gallery below and bring on the next storm!
