Weekly Wrap: Fresh Snow & First Base…Weekend Goals

It was all about ticking goals this weekend! Skiers, boarders, families and first timers were all loving the 5cm of fresh snow that fell on Friday night and early Saturday morning…delivering a fun Saturday full of stoke. The Cruiser area was the pick for Saturday with fun freshies and turns to be found.
On Saturday afternoon it was all about the après, from freshies straight into First Base…good vibes were in full effect. Après Man and Après Queen we’re spotted jiving around town, spreading the party vibes and word that First Base was the place to be after shredding up the mountain.
Tom Tilley, Hugo Gruzman and CC:DISCO pumped nostalgic après tunes for everyone to enjoy…it was a vintage après soiree not to be missed! From Grommets to Grandpas, the all ages party was a hit for all.
Sunday, we we’re greeted with awesome bluebird conditions…perfect way to end the weekend! Everyone enjoy soaking up the sun and the early morning fresh turns. Best news is, temps are staying very cold throughout the week, allowing for great snowmaking and riding conditions.
