The Snow Guns Are Firing!

Stoked…Winter has arrived! The switch has been flicked, as snow making started last night with 154 guns in action all the way through to sunrise.
As temperatures on the mountain plummeted, a variety of areas across the resort saw the man-made stuff fall, paving the way for Thredbo to begin its winter transformation.
A string of cold clear nights is forecast all the way through next week, allowing our Mountain Operations team to continue piling up the white gold. The crew will be hard at work cranking out snow, building that base and manoeuvring whales (piles of man-made snow) to set up a perfect start to the season.
