The Snow Season Is HERE

WE. ARE. ON. Mountain Operations have piled up the white gold, the chairs are racked on and the winter vibes have rolled into town! With temps dropping, snow in the forecast and more terrain opening up across the week we’re set for a cracking season.
Things officially kicked off yesterday on Friday Flat with blue skies and freshly groomed cord. Keen skiers and snowboarders headed up Easy Rider Chairlift throughout the day to grab some of the first turns of the season.
Over the next three days the weather gods are forecasted to deliver a wintery blast with dropping temps and 10cm of fresh snow incoming. This also means the snow guns are primed to keep pumping out the good stuff.
With great conditions ahead the popular Cruiser area is set to hopefully open later in the week. Drum roll please…this also includes the keenly awaited opening of the new Merritts Gondola on Wednesday! Heading to Merritts Mountain House and the Cruiser area will be a snap for skiers, snowboarders and foot passengers with a speedy 6 minute ride from Thredbo Village in the European style cabins.
