Thredbo has been crowned Australia’s Best Family Ski Resort of 2020!
Judged by an esteemed panel of ski industry experts, the Ski & Snowboard with Kids Awards are the ultimate guide to kid-friendly snow adventures with resorts judged across five expert categories.
Thredbo won four of the five expert categories to take out the overall title, including Best for Beginners, Best for Advanced Families, Best for All-Round Family Activities and Best Village.
And it wasn’t just the experts who were impressed, with Thredbo also taking out the Reader’s Choice Award.
Thredbo scored points for its variety of terrain, buzzing European-style village and having the only alpine gondola in Australia!
The new Merritts Gondola launched this winter and was a hit with families straight away, with comfy cabins taking snowlovers up the mountain in just 6 minutes to the base of the family-friendly Cruiser area.
