Thredbo is gearing up for a big double header of the Gravity Series this weekend. The Gravity Series is all about having fun with your mates with a stack of cash and prizes up for grabs and categories for all ages. The second round will be the Ricochet Rumble on Sunday, where riders will be tested on a series of flowing berms before they will need to pedal hard to the finish line.
On the same day it’s time for the Pump Track Party, where riders will need to use their momentum to generate as much speed as possible without a single pedal stroke! The next round will be Friday Flat Fury on 28 February. To find out more about the Gravity Series and to register click here.
The MTB School Holiday Camps have been a big hit over the holiday period with all camps selling out! The camps cater for students 7- 14 years and teach kids the mountain bike fundamentals, gravity specific riding techniques, pump track skills and valuable bike setup tools in a fun and educational environment. Thredbo offers a range of mountain bike clinics for all levels. To find out more about other clinics available click here.
Our Gravity Girls clinics continue to be popular with our January clinic selling out. The clinics are designed to encourage female riders to tackle the mountain and learn gravity techniques in a fun and non-intimidating environment. Book now for our February and March Gravity Girls clinic!
The Thredbo Mountain Bike trail fairies have been working hard this week, taking to the trails with their shovels outside opening hours to complete a full rebuild of the Kosciuszko Flow trail. After the work is done riders will be treated to fresh berms with smoother take offs and landings.
The Kosciuszko Flow Trail is perfect for intermediate riders with a flowing singletrack that rolls down the slopes of the Crackenback Supertrail, big berms and fun rollers. Find out more about Thredbo Mountain Bike Park Trails here.
With trail upgrades, Gravity Series events and more mountain bike clinics, there’s even more to look forward to over the coming months!
