Mt Kosciuszko Full Moon Hike – 8 December
Posted on 9 Dec, 2022 in Hikes Track Report
Last night was Thredbo’s first Full Moon Hike of the 2022-23 summer season.
At sunset, Thredbo’s passionate Guides led hikers to the top of Mt Kosciuszko to watch the full moon rise over the mountains.
Mother Nature put on an awe-inspiring show for our hikers! With only a few clouds in the sky, the full moon glowed brightly over the mountains.
Hikers enjoyed hot chocolate and tea as they took in the spectacular nighttime sky before making their descent under the iconic Milky Way.
The monthly Full Moon Hike is one of the unique Guided Hikes that Thredbo is offering this summer. From exploring the beauty of the Main Range on an Aries Tor Hike to witnessing the sunset from Australia’s highest peak, our passionate Guides will take you off the beaten track with bucket list expeditions like no other.
