Rain before snow… A tale as old as time. We got some wet weather at the start of this week but mother nature is trying her best to change that to snow. Up high, the flakes started falling this afternoon and by Thursday, it is forecasted to snow all the way down to the village. The best part? That’s only the start.

Could we be riding powder like that this weekend? It’s possible! One cold front is expected to hit on Thursday into Friday, another cold front is charging through on Saturday into Sunday and a possible third cold front could be coming through on Monday. Getting three separate cold fronts in one week is very good news.
It must be Christmas (in July) because it feels like Santa is coming. With enough cold air to keep the snow falling for most of the week, experts are saying that this storm could bring us 15-45cm of snow on Thursday and Friday, up to 25-70cm of snow on Saturday and Sunday, and up to 10cm of snow next Monday. That could add up to over a metre of snow in total!
