We woke up to 3cm of fresh snow this morning but then the storm really hit! It kept dumping all morning, taking our snowfall count to 10cm this afternoon. Skiers and snowboarders enjoyed fresh tracks during every lap this morning as Mother Nature kept topping up the runs with the good stuff.
The snowstorm comes after some massive nights of snowmaking with up to 173 snow guns firing for up to 12 hours each night this week. Plus, cold temperatures are forecast to stick around which is a good sign for more snowmaking! It’s set to dip down to minus six tomorrow and then low temperatures will hover around minus three degrees for the rest of the week.

The even better news? Experts say there’s more snow coming this way. Mountain Watch says we can expect to receive up to 15cm of fresh snow in the next 7 days, Jane’s Forecast says we could be in for up to 39cm over the next 10 days and Snowatch is calling for up to 50cm over the next 15 days.
Snow conditions are currently dry and chalky plus there’s lots of wind-blown snow coming in from the Australian Main Range… Pretty ideal if you ask us! Hot tip? Sponars T-bar is where it’s at.
Keen to catch these fresh tracks? Jump in the car & go! Buy your lift passes online here and save up to 35% with multi-day passes starting from $162 per day.
If you’re coming down, make sure you check out our stacked Winter Events Calendar! We’ve got White Claw coming to town tomorrow night to host a huge Alpine Bar party featuring Anna Lunoe plus we’ve got non-stop live music, entertainment and après taking over loads of venues on and off the mountain.
