Cannonball MTB Festival | Fox Flow Motion Cup Delivers High-Octane Racing

Day three of Thredbo’s Cannonball MTB Festival presented by Boost Mobile continued in spectacular fashion, as competitors took on the highly anticipated Fox Flow Motion Cup. Under clear blue skies, riders pushed their limits on a course that featured newly added sections, ensuring fresh challenges and exhilarating racing from start to finish.
With a dynamic mix of technical terrain, high-speed berms and demanding traverses, the Fox Flow Motion Cup put racers’ endurance and speed to the test. The course refresh brought new opportunities for strategic racing, making it a mid-week highlight.
With over 500 racers competing over two days in this race, all vying for a share of the impressive $120,000 prize pool – the stakes were high as elite riders battled for top honours. In the Pro Men’s category, Luke Meier-Smith claimed victory, followed by Jack Moir in second and Thomas Locke rounding out the podium. Meanwhile, the Pro Women’s competition was fierce with only 0.34 of a second dividing the winner Sian A’Hern and Elleni Turkovic in second closely followed by Ellie Smith in third.
The action is far from over, as more exhilarating racing is set to unfold in the coming days. With the momentum building and competitors hungry for victory, Thredbo’s Cannonball MTB Festival promises even more heart-stopping moments ahead.
