Updates and Upgrades
THREDBO TO MT KOSCIUSZKO
Construction work continues at the Kosciuszko Summit, once completed this new and improved path will make the Summit more accessible. Construction has also started on the Dead Horse Gap Walk as a part of the Dead Horse Gap Walk Renewal project. Please show respect for the workers and in the interest of your safety listen to any direction they may have for you, be prepared for small delays as there is possibility of helicopter work in the area.
As you can expect the wildflowers are looking spectacular with a new set of blooms coming out like the Silver Ewartia, Woolly Billy-Button and White Purslane. Come along on a guided hike with us to Mt Kosciuszko to find out more about the abundance of wildflowers in our national park.
The Snowies Alpine Walk has now been open for just over a month and is gaining a lot of attention. If you would like to give the walk a go there is still some availability for a guided walk with Thredbo’s knowledgeable guides available for select dates in February and April. We will look after your food, accommodation and transfers, you just focus on walking! Below is an insight into some of the views and flowers you may see on the walk.
