We’ve got a serious snowstorm coming our way! Experts are calling for up to 70cm of snow over the next week!

Winter is well and truly here at Thredbo Resort! The mountain is covered in white, snow has been falling all the way down to the village and snowmaking has officially begun for 2023.

It’s a magical morning here in Thredbo with snow covering the village in a blanket of white!

A cold snap swept across the Snowy Mountains this weekend with fresh white snow falling all the way to the village. The snow dump has gotten us pumped to strap into skis and snowboards in just 25 days!

Snow is on the way this week, with a series of cold fronts due to hit the mountains from Tuesday. The first front will bring isolated showers developing into snow later as temps drop.

It’s been a winter to remember here in Australia, but as the season down under draws to a close, we cast our eyes to the northern hemisphere in search of any tasty tidbits of information that might give away the secret of what lies ahead for the North American winter of 2017-18.
