SIX massive events are set to attract riders from across the nation and around the world, with several of the top racers already locked in!
Get set for a stacked line-up of events, including the brand-new Osprey All-Mountain Enduro, the return of the Maxxis Dual Slalom, the Fox Flow Motion Cup, and the Oakley Pump Track Challenge on Thredbo’s Village Green. We’ll then round out the week with the exclusive invite-only Deity Whip Wars and the infamous Rockshox Australian Open Downhill!

Boost Mobile Multi-Event Entry
The Boost Mobile multi-event entry is the best value when competing in the Cannonball MTB Festival and puts you on the start line of 5 out of the 6 events including the Rockshox Australian Open Downhill, Osprey All-Mountain Enduro, Fox Flow Motion Cup, Oakley Pump Track Challenge and the Maxxis Dual Slalom!

Osprey All-Mountain Enduro | Tuesday 11 February
A brand new addition to the Cannonball line-up, The Osprey All-Mountain Enduro will test the strength and stamina of the best in the business, as the iron men and women of MTB tackle the 3-stage 9km track. The course will cover the entire mountain, starting from behind Eagles Nest and finishing back at Valley Terminal with range of rock rolls, pinch climbs & steep switchbacks to push even the most avid enduro purist.

Fox Flow Motion Cup | Wednesday 12 & Thursday 13 February
The Fox Flow Motion Cup is set for a midweek spectacle, featuring a variety of new sections. This exciting refresh of the fast racecourse promises action from start to finish!
Although not super technical, this race requires a fit efficient type of rider. A stack of huge berms & long traverses ensures that cornering and pedalling ability will be paramount.

Maxxis Dual Slalom | Thursday 13 February
The exciting Maxxis Dual Slalom is back in 2025, featuring racers competing head-to-head on the Friday Flat ski slope. This event adopts a relaxed approach to course design, incorporating off-camber grass turns from top to bottom, promising plenty of action, excitement and drifting! Riders will complete a qualifying run on Thursday morning, with the top competitors advancing to the head-to-head finals.
Oakley Pump Track Challenge | Friday 14 February
Get ready for the Oakley Pump Track Challenge on Friday night. See Thredbo’s Pump Track on the Village Green in full flight as the smooth momentum masters set the perfectly sculpted course on fire. A test of ultimate skill and stamina, as riders pump, double and manual around the perfectly sculptured course. Riders will lay down a qualifying run on Friday morning, with the top riders going through to the final heats held under lights!
Rockshox Australian Open Downhill | Friday 14 & Saturday 15 February
The Rockshox Australian Open DH will take place on Thredbo’s iconic Cannonball Downhill, featuring the exhilarating upper fire road. Riders will tackle a high-speed downhill course that includes rock gardens, challenging chutes, massive jumps, and rugged terrain. Plus, this event promises the biggest payday in Australian downhill history!

Deity Whip Wars | Saturday 15 February
Invite Only
The crowd-pleasing Deity Whip Wars returns to centre stage on Saturday afternoon. With a selection of the loosest mountain bikers launching themselves sideways off the super booter at the heart of the event hub. The rider who lands the biggest ‘moto-style’ whip will claim the top honours, with bonus points awarded for those who exceed 90 degrees.
It’s not all about the whips, with the best freestyle riders in the country throwing down on the hunt for the best trick award!
