There’s something for everyone these school holidays, with a mountain of terrain to explore, a huge line up of free activities and plenty of après for mum and dad. The Kids Snow Festival is a favourite for kids of all ages with movie nights, special kids flare run, loads of activities on and off the mountain plus lots more.
Kids Live Alpine Concert ft. The Beanies
4:15pm - 5pm | 11 July
Friday Flat
The Beanies will descend on Friday Flat for a FREE one-time live performance this winter school holidays! Let the kids dance their hearts out while mum and dad enjoy drinks by the fire.
Project Shred

Thredbo is proud to bring an intuitive and progressive day of skiing, snowboarding & workshopping to help pave the way in developing the next generation of superstar shredders.
Astronomy Night
6:30pm - 7:15pm | 11 & 18 July
Kosciuszko Room
What happens in a black hole? Are there other planets that may support life? What caused the Big Bang? Explore these topics and more at a FREE session with astronomers from Mt Stromlo Observatory. No bookings required, just turn up and grab a seat. Spots are limited.

Around the Mountain
Test your knowledge of Thredbo in our brand new Amazing Race! Take on the challenge and solve each clue to find the next spot, make your way around the resort and connect all the dots. Find the first clue at the big trail map at Friday Flat. Complete the race for your chance to win a trip to Thredbo!

Calling all thrill seekers! The brand new Alpine Coaster is the perfect activity to keep kids of all sizes entertained these school holidays.
Lindt Chocolate S'mores

Friday Flat Fire Pits
Back again this season, enjoy the tradition of s’mores with a unique Lindt Chocolate spin. This fun, free après activity takes place on select afternoons at the Friday Flat Fire Pits.
Kids Movie Night
5pm – 7pm | 9, 10, 12, 16, 17 & 19 July
Townsend Room
Enjoy a night in the village and drop your kids off for popcorn and movie nights in the Townsend Room underneath the Lounge Bar. Kids can enjoy a movie under the safe care of our professional staff. Bookings coming soon.
Family Flare Run & Fireworks

Friday Flat
Every Thursday night enjoy skiing and snowboarding under the night sky on Friday Flat with your very own twinkling LED flare. Once everyone has reached the bottom, the fireworks spectacular lights up the sky.
Family Fun Nights

Come one, come all to the Thredbo family fun nights! There will be music, dancing, games and prizes, Thredboland animal parades, fireworks and kids only flare run while parents can grab a cheeky schnapps. Enjoy!

Saturday Night Fireworks Spectacular

Thredbo Sky
This show will see fireworks dance & glitter across the night sky. Look up to witness the largest display in the region. This pyrotechnic spectacular will see the mountains illuminate and the alpine sky pop and sparkle with a kaleidoscope of colour.

Youth Development Backcountry Tour presented by The North Face

Kosciuszko Backcountry
A brand new backcountry tour designed to inspire the next generation of enthusiasts aged 15-18 years. Participants will receive mentorship, new experiences, upskilling opportunities, and community connections.

Thredbo Museum – Behind the Info Centre
Take a journey back in time and witness a radical display of skiing, snowboarding and winter sport memorabilia through the ages.
Winter Disc Golf
10am – 3pm | Daily
Disc Golf Park – Thredbo Golf Course
Disc golf is fun for all ages and abilities and is played much like traditional golf but, instead of a ball and clubs, players use a flying disc.
