33rd Thredbo Memorial Race

The 33rd Thredbo Memorial Race will be held Tuesday, 3 September 2024.

Course update – This race has now been moved to High Noon.

Established as a tribute to those who are no longer with us, it is all about commemoration, community and fun!

This year’s theme is “Mountain Royalty”.

The Thredbo Memorial Race is the ideal ski race for everyone to get involved, as it is not how fast, but how consistent you are that makes you the winner.

Racers will have 2 runs through down the High Noon race course.

The Thredbo Memorial Race comprises 3 major prizes:

1. The Peter Moulos Cup – presented to the racer with the closest time split.

2. The Chris Pegus Cup – racers are grouped in teams of 2, and the team with the closest combined split is the winner.

3. The Peter Moulos Junior Cup – presented to the child (under 15) with the closest time split.

All proceeds from the Thredbo Memorial Race are donated to the Thredbo Early Childhood Centre – a non-for-profit community based long day care centre who have cared for the children of Thredbo and surrounds for over 25 years.

The Thredbo Memorial Race typifies the Thredbo community spirit as we raise a glass to celebrate the Thredbo family who have left us over the years. It’s a great day with friends, loads of fun and lots of prizes.

$40pp for adults, and children under 15yo are free. Registration is via the Thredbo Online Shop and will close 5pm, Monday 2 September.

Helmets are compulsory.
