The Kids Easter Adventure Festival combines all the best parts of outdoor recreation in the Snowy Mountains with a range of indoor activities to keep your kids occupied this summer. From treasure hunts, arts and crafts, rock-climbing, face painting and more, there is something for all ages.

Returning this season is the addition of the Cruiser Mountain Bike area, the perfect spot for young riders and families to learn the basics of gravity mountain biking.

On top of all the Festival activities, we have the brand new alpine coaster, 50m swimming pool with waterslide & Mission Inflatable, the Kosciuszko Chairlift and Merritts Gondola, Australia’s only alpine gondola!

Easter Bunny Visit supported by Lindt

Thredbo’s Easter Bunny, Rowdy, will descend upon the Village Green come Easter Sunday with baskets of Lindt Chocolate for all his favourite kids. Keep an eye out for the the Thredbo Fire Truck for his spectacular arrival.

Alpine Coaster*

Valley Terminal
At 1.5km in length, from thrill-seekers to leisure cruisers, passengers will be able to control their speed of up to 40km/h as they travel along a mix of uphill and downhill tracks featuring a tunnel, bridges and circles that traverse the alpine environment.

Think you have what it takes to be a part of Thredbo’s Amazing Race? Take on the challenge! Your mission is to follow all the secret clues to find the hidden treasure! Find your first clue at the Thredbo Information Centre.
Bike Challenge
9am – 3pm | Daily
Thredbo Information Centre
Head to the Info Centre, grab a location sheet and search out the four Mountain Bike trails listed. Collect a sticker at each trail head. Once you complete all four tracks head back the Info Centre to collect your prize!
Hike Challenge

Here’s an activity for the whole family! Start at the Thredbo Information Centre. Grab a location sheet, head to the four trail heads and collect a stamp. Once completed go back to the Thredbo Information Centre to collect your prize!
Nature Bingo

Grab a free Nature Bingo sheet from the Thredbo Information Centre and head on a walk or hike. Play with your family or friends and see who will find a row first. Once completed head back to the Thredbo Information Centre to collect your prize!
Giant Games

Thredbo has a range of fun outdoor giant games to play. From Connect Four, Jenga, Corn Hole and much more… Relax while the kids play or join in on the fun.
Slackline Fun

Thredbo Valley Terminal by the river
Be ready to enter into the world of acro-balancing and slack rope. It’s all about balance and belief that you can do it! Enjoy this fun new skill that everybody can learn.

Face Painting

Be transformed into a magical creature – with a flick of the brush your character will be brought to life.

When it comes to the school holidays, the cinema is always a great option to finish off a fun day. Kids can enjoy popcorn under the safe care of our professional staff. While this is a free event, bookings are essential.

Thredbo’s disc golf course is nestled between bushland and surrounded by stunning mountain views. Disc golf is fun for all ages and abilities and is played much like traditional golf, the object is to complete each hole in the fewest number of throws. Book disc rental (including scorecards) in resort at Guest Services Valley Terminal*.
