Guests can ride under the stars in Australia’s Only Alpine Gondola to Merritts Mountain House to enjoy a family friendly Bavarian-inspired feast! The ride down is an unforgettable one with views of the Thredbo Village lights below.
The experience includes return Merritts Gondola ride to and from Merritts Mountain House and a delicious Bavarian feast for dinner!
Merritts Mountain Haus Feasts will run on select Wednesdays and Fridays from 27 June– 29 August.

What You Need To Know
- Meeting Point: Base of Merritts Gondola between 5:30 – 5:45pm
- What To Wear: Please dress sensibly with warm and weather proof clothing and sturdy non-slip shoes.
- Dietaries: Please supply allergies and dietary requirements during booking process.
- Returning to Thredbo Village: Bar closes at 8:30pm, with the last gondola departing at 9pm. You are able to leave earlier if you wish.
- Safety: At Merritts Mountain House you must remain within deck area. Do not venture onto snow.
- Seating: Due to fixed seating requirements, smaller groups may be asked to share larger tables with other small groups. Some groups may be allocated to communal tables.
- Merritts Mountain Haus practices Responsible Service of Alcohol. If you are deemed to be intoxicated when attending dinner, admission will be denied and/or if alcohol service is denied during dinner, you will not receive compensation.

Weather and Conditions Dependent
If there is a chance of unsafe conditions, the mountain team will cancel the session. The final decision will be made on the day of the dinner and we will contact you at least an hour before the meeting time to organise a full refund.
