Check out some of the beginner gravity trails we’ll be hitting during the MTB Fundamentals Clinic…

Beginner Skills Park

The Beginner Skills Park offers a safe space for riders to develop the fundamentals of mountain biking. Featuring small rollers, berms, and basic obstacles, it’s perfect for building confidence and mastering control before hitting the trails.

Easy Rider

Starting at the top of the Cruiser Chairlift, Easy Rider offers a smooth and gentle introduction to gravity riding within the Cruiser MTB area. Ideal for beginners, it’s the perfect starting point for those new to mountain biking. Riders can then continue onto Sidewinder, take another lap on Easy Rider, or download via the Merritts Gondola.

Sidewinder

Sidewinder is a beginner-friendly gravity flow trail that makes its way from the top of the Merritts Gondola, wrapping around the mountain through stunning terrain. With its deep, flowing berms and rolling landscape, it offers a roller-coaster-like ride with minimal pedaling and braking. Small features along the way allow riders to test their skills, ensuring fun for all abilities.
