We are open for skiing and snowboarding today! 11 lifts are expected to operate.

For scenic passengers, the Merritts Gondola will operate for scenic rides and access to Merritts Mountain House.

The new Alpine Coaster opens at 9AM.

We scored another 9cm of fresh snow overnight from top-to-bottom… Taking this week’s storm total to 14cm and counting!

Skiers and snowboarders, it’s a powder day! The snow conditions will be dry and chalky plus overnight winds have created lots of snow drifts so there’s plenty of powder stashes to slash. The best part? It’s still snowing this morning and there’s more in the forecast for today and the rest of the week!

Plus it wasn’t only mother nature giving it her all last night… Our snowmaking crew were also making the most of the freezing temperatures to get 145 of our strongest snowmaking guns firing for 12 hours overnight. It’s forecast to be a wintry day with cloudy skies, a very high chance of snow showers, low visibility and moderate to strong winds.

Advanced and intermediate riders, today’s pick of the day from our grooming team is to head straight to Supertrail!

For beginners, start by learning the basics of skiing and snowboarding at Friday Flat before progressing to the Cruiser area.

There was overnight grooming on Supertrail, Rossignol Race Course, Sundowner, Dream Run, High Noon, the Cruiser area and the Friday Flat area.

11 lifts are expected to operate today for skiers and snowboarders: The Kosciuszko Chairlift, Merritts Gondola, Snowgums Chairlift, Easy Rider T-Bar, Cruiser Chairlift, Gunbarrel Chairlift, Easy Does It Chairlift, Syd’s Snow Runner, The Burrow Snow Runner, Wombats Snow Runner and Freddie’s Snowsports Snow Runner.

For scenic passengers, the Merritts Gondola is operating today.

The Alpine Coaster will open at 9AM today.

The Boost Mobile Terrain Park and the Ballroom Terrain Park are both open today with an awesome stack of features for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy.
