Beginner Guide
Thredbo Alpine Coaster
The Southern Hemisphere’s first-ever year-round Alpine Coaster is in full operation. At 1.5km in length, passengers can control their speed of up to 40km/h as they travel along a mix of uphill and downhill tracks featuring a tunnel, bridges and circles that traverse the alpine environment.
Merritts Gondola
Take a ride on the state-of-the-art Merritts Gondola, Australia’s only alpine Gondola! Merritts Gondola is a high speed, eight person Gondola that takes skiers, snowboarders and scenic passengers from the Village to the base of the Cruiser Area in approximately 6 minutes.
Snowshoe Tours
Explore the wintry alpine landscape on foot this season and join on one of our snow shoe tours. A perfect option for those wanting to immerse themselves in a winter wonderland away from the slopes – no skiing or snowboarding skills necessary!
The Village
Thredbo Village is truly one of a kind. Getting Here
Not quite sure how to get to Thredbo? Don’t stress…it’s easy. Thredbo is located roughly 5.5 hours’ drive from either Sydney or Melbourne and can be conveniently accessed via car, bus or plane.
